About Aloha Service Network

Aloha Service Network is a project intended to be:

• a tool for those seeking to be of service
• a tool for helping communities connect and grow

This project will be ongoing and dynamic and will hopefully grow to be more and more useful and user friendly. Please feel free to send feedback and suggestions in our contact form that you think might improve the platform, or donate to support its development.

How it works

Users of ASN can create or join public or private groups where they can post and view the following content:

• Events
• Collaborations – collaborative ideas for community benefit
• Requests – requests for individual needs
• Giveaways – free items of value

Upon creating a profile, users may optionally list skills and resources they are willing to offer (this information remains private). When posting a Collaboration or Request, users can specify which skills or resources would be helpful. If a user’s listed offerings match the needs of a post, they receive a notification. It is then up to them to reach out if they would like to contribute.
